ALL SYSTEMS GO! March is the month we have been waiting for after a year of one difficult month after another. Naturally, there are a few bumpy spots, but there are no outer planet transits, no eclipses, and no retrogrades. It’s as if a weight is lifted from our shoulders when Mars skips into Gemini on March 3, followed by an uplifting Mercury-Jupiter conjunction on March 4. Imaginative Neptune is highlighted three times this month when it is joined by the Sun on March 10, Venus on March 13, and Mercury on March 20th. The Pisces New Moon on March 13 is made for visionaries and lovers, since it conjoins beautiful Neptune and sweet Venus. The elusive fantasy theme is emphasized again when Mercury enters Pisces on March 15, trading in its logic for the mind of a poet.

We can float in and out of dreams while the Pisces Sun lights up the sky until the Spring Equinox on March 20 when the Sun blasts into Aries, followed by Venus the next day. We receive assistance on March 21 when Mars trines Saturn, empowering us with natural management skills and the ability to organize complicated projects. But the month is not without some stress. March 23 is a day to watch because it is the third and final Mercury-Mars square, symbolizing fighting words. This aspect was exact on January 8, but already in play on January 6, the day of the Capitol insurrection. Retrograde Mercury squared Mars a second time on February 10, while videos of the January 6 melee were being observed at the impeachment trial. It remains to be seen what, if anything, will occur on March 23. But we can’t escape the other difficult aspects on that very same day as Mars and Mercury form conflictive aspects to Pluto. It may take us a few days to get our lives running smoothly again; thankfully, we can benefit from the Venus-Sun conjunction on March 25, Venus and the Sun conjunct Chiron on March 28 and 29, and Venus and the Sun sextile Saturn on March 30 and 31. Meanwhile, the Libra Full Moon flies into this powerful cosmic mix on March 28, giving us the opportunity to forgive someone or ourselves. We are being offered the potential for change, a chance to move beyond the struggles of 2020. The big question is, “Are we ready to turn our dreams into reality?” Time will tell.
