Chiromancy, sometimes also referred to as chirology, palm reading or palmistry, does not have the reputation of being the most serious method of divination or fortune telling as it is often considered a superstition. It becomes superstition when one assigns a level of meaning to a sign or line in the hand that it cannot have. It gets exciting, however, when you know the meaning of some markings and find matches in your environment.
