Tithi is one of the 5 parts of Panchanga and it is related to Jala Tatwa/ water Element. This Tithi is being derived from the difference of Longitude of Sun & Moon. Sun Pratyadhi devata is Lord Shiva & Moon Pratyadhi devata is Maa Gouri. So, Tithi is relation between divine Father & Mother which give the seed of our creation. Each 12 degree difference is one Tithi. In this video the various aspects related to Tithi is discussed.
