So, how are we all doing this first proper week of Mars Retrograde? Ready to bite your sweetheart’s head off yet? Or walk out of your job? Throw a brick through your neighbor’s window? Try to control yourself, darling! For as healthy as it is to want to assert yourself, you may have to find wiser ways of doing it. Luckily for you, you will have the mighty Sun — ruler of will power, sense of self, and confidence, come to the rescue. He throws some useful, practical trines to both stable Saturn and transformative Pluto. This should allow you to get that breather you need during this tricky time, and to set your boundaries with a lot more respect for yourself and others. Phew! These periods of Mars Retrograde can be very messy, and we need all the help we can get!

Because of this solid, reliable energy in the air, it’s a great week to line up any job interviews or presentations. With the help of these trines, you’re coming across as capable and focused, determined, and structured. Happening in the earth signs of Virgo and Capricorn, the theme is all about professionalism, broad-minded growth, and taking firm control in a tangible, realistic way. You’re adulting hard, and doing a fabulous job of it! At the same time, you’re building a realistic sense of self worth and understanding — in a mature way — what your limits are.
