This is a pretty well known strat by the JP community, so I decided to showcase it to you for EN users.

This is a simple strat, it’s essentially abusing reverse psychology. By completely going nuts and defending the fake vaults, raiders will think you’re defending the real vault in the center area and pursue the mid when the real vault is in the corner all along.

As I said, this is a pretty well known strat in JP community. Since Burgle Cats just got released for EN users and share the same server with JP users, you will encounter japanese players very often. JP players know how to counter this strat by going to the opposite corner of the shrine, however I put my real vault on the same side of my shine, further confusing japanese players. Again, I am simply abusing reverse psychology.

This strat has two fatal weaknesses. First one is Clairvoyant. If the player sends a cat on the left side and uses Clairvoyant, it will detect the real vault and I will lose. The other weakness is if the raider takes a lucky guess by miraculously going bottom left and going trigger happy on the vault, I will lose. So this strat is not inevitable, but the clips you see in the video are the majority of outcomes that happen.
