I have been a professional Astrologer since 1997 having embarked on this journey since the 1970s. I am a strong believer in "Karma". My objectives and professional practice are to help people develop an acceptance of their future based on their past.
Though I understood the effect of planets on human being and I also learned to interpret horoscope way back in the late seventies but I did not show much interest in practising astrology then, because I understood that most of the astrologers in those days (& even today!) followed the traditional way of analysing where lot of superstitions were involved which I did not like due my firm belief in the fact that the ‘human beings are rational creatures’.
I always believed that planets were just agents of one Supreme Power indicating only the effects produced by such causes, without them themselves producing the effects and I always believed that Jupiter was neither Brahman (higher caste) nor Saturn a Sudra (lower caste) as referred in many ancient classic works. In my experience I found that sincere prayers yielding some real positive results
From an astrological point of view, the timing of the ‘punishments’ imposed on a person as a result of past birth Karma is no doubt determined by the planetary positions in a horoscope OR through the Maha Dasha in operation and Gotchara (transit of planets).
I am neither against anyone performing any Shanti Puja nor against anyone wearing gemstones, but at the same time, I have been arguing since quite some years that one cannot simply come out one’s bad Karma unless one would have completed at least 60% of his / her punishment life for his / her past birth committed sins.
