In this video I have explained the importance of ascendant and ascendant lord in your birth chart. I have discussed why the ascendant is given so much of importance in Vedic astrology. I have also tried to touch upon the difference between Birth chart lagna and navamsa lagna and the Arudha lagna. The placement of ascendant lord in different houses is explained in an easy to understand manner alongwith the positioning of certain specific planets in the ascendant.
