When Mars transits Taurus, we lose the reckless impatience that characterized the Mars in Aries transit, and life may seem to take an altogether slower turn.

In Astrology, Mars is the planet of drive, ambition, and courage; when expressed through the fixed earth filter of Taurus, this drive and ambition become very grounded and very practical. Sensible, even, which is not often a word associated with Mars. During the Mars in Taurus transit, determination and tenacity are great strengths, and we are generally happy to take our time to reach an objective. Gone is the need to rush or to be first.
