Atmakaraka (AK) is considered to be your Soul planet in Jamini astrology, the planet holding the highest degree excluding the nodes. I was amazed to learn about this as I can truly say I am the very definition of my soul planet for better for worse. I have learned my lessons to do with my AK and now that I have been humbled, I can say that, I am very much connected to my path and I know my inner nature. Once you know your Ak, you can read your chart and see how precise it is.
