One thing that gets on my nerve is that Astrology is used the wrong way. Predictions imply that nothing can be changed and everything is fated. To me, that’s kind of sad. Life isn’t fatalistic.

Life is about choices.

Chinese Astrology or for that matter, any form of astrology is about reading the energy maps that influence all living beings. To be more specific, what kind of stars affect us on Earth (in Western Astrology it’s just called planets or constellations while for the ancient Chinese astrologers, they chose farm animals and mythical creatures so that it’s relatable to peasants who were usually deprived of any formal education).

But how can planets so far away affect our ‘luck’?

It’s simple. Here are 2 examples:

1. Heard of lunatics? It refers to a crazy person who becomes crazier during full moons or ‘moonstruck’. Basically, it amplifies our emotions or who we are.

2. The Sun – can you imagine the kind of day you’d have without one?

We’re not mechanical beings. We’re spiritual beings – mind, body and soul. Luck or Wealth is just a form of energy. We can’t see this energy (referred to as Qi in Chinese Astrology and Metaphysics) nor do we need to. Just like Electrons – no one has ever seen it, but we all know it’s there. And the reason we know Electrons exists is because we observe it’s effects. Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and Metaphysics works the same way within these boundaries.
